OUR PRACTICE

Madison Direct Health is a family‑owned medical practice providing practical, patient‑focused care in Madison, Indiana. I’m Brandy Smith, MSN, APRN, FNP‑C, a family nurse practitioner with over 20 years of experience in healthcare. My background includes pediatrics, family medicine, medical‑surgical nursing, correctional care, occupational health, and addiction treatment.

I began my career in 1997 as a medical receptionist, later becoming a Registered Nurse and eventually earning my Master’s degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner. I am also a nationally certified medical examiner for the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) and perform DOT physicals for commercial drivers.

Today, my primary focus is providing Medication‑Assisted Treatment (MAT) for individuals working toward recovery from Opioid Use Disorder. I offer structured, evidence‑based treatment with one‑on‑one support, clear expectations, and consistent follow‑up. For individuals who need a higher level of care, we provide information for nearby inpatient treatment facilities.

My goal is to offer a safe, supportive, and non‑judgmental environment where patients can work toward stability, sobriety, and long‑term health.
